The painter Gisela Isking has established herself as an artist in the field of modern art and continues to develop her artist profile in atelier courses, for example with Prof. Hella Santarossa at the Summer Academy in Salzburg and at the Städelschule, Academy of Fine Arts, Frankfurt.

Passion for experimenting, spontaneity, boldness and power define her artwork and combine in composing a unique expressiveness which in its unconventional originality and vibrant colours creates striking effects. Impulsive strokes and an organic language of form typically characterize her abstract paintings in oil and mixed media.

Gisela has been a free-lance artist for over 20 years. She is a member of the Professional Association of Visual Artists (Berufsverband Bildender Künstler) and regularly presents her works at exhibitions.
